Yes. To decline or remove Overdraft Privilege, please visit any Swift Trust Revolution office for more information.

Note: If you decline (or elect to remove) Overdraft Privilege, any item or transaction that is presented for payment against an account with insufficient funds will typically be returned unpaid, and a Returned Item Fee of $38 may be charged for each item or transaction. Please note, however, that, even if you opted out of the Overdraft Privilege program, items or transactions may still be paid into overdraft when there are not enough funds available in your account to pay such items or transactions. This typically occurs when your debit card is used for reoccurring transactions, such as bill payments using your debit card that have been set up to pay on a reoccurring basis. We may also, at our discretion, honor withdrawal requests that overdraw your account. However, the fact that we may honor withdrawal requests that overdraw the account balance does not obligate us to do so later.

Yes. Swift Trust Revolution reserves the right to not pay an overdraft and/or revoke the service, in the event that:

  • The customer is suspected of fraudulent activity on their account
  • The customer appears to be using the account as a regular line of credit by creating excessive overdrafts
  • The account is no longer eligible due to a charge off at Swift Trust Revolution, or a known bankruptcy.
Paying an item or transaction when there are not enough funds available in your account to pay such item or transaction is discretionary on the part of Swift Trust Revolution, and we do not guarantee that we will pay any item or transaction presented when there are not enough funds available in your account, or that exceed your overdraft limit, to pay such item or transaction.
Account owners are notified each time Overdraft Privilege is used to pay an item or transaction, and the customer should make every attempt to bring the account to a positive balance as soon as possible. The account must reach a positive balance within 30 days. If the account is not brought to a positive balance within 30 days, Overdraft Privilege may be revoked, and collection efforts may be pursued. Furthermore, any account that is overdrawn for 7 or more consecutive calendar days will incur a Consecutive Overdraft Daily Fee of $5 until the account is no longer overdrawn.
  1. The system first looks for Sweep coverage, and will transfer funds from the linked account to cover the overdraft.
  2. If the account does not have Sweep coverage (or does not have enough money in the linked account to cover the overdraft) the system will look for an Overdraft Protection credit line to pay the item(s) or transaction(s).
  3. If neither Sweep nor Overdraft Protection is available, Swift Trust Revolution may pay the item(s) or transaction(s) using Overdraft Privilege, up to the account's limit.
